My review is specifically about Rick Lawrence of Baird and Warner Naperville. My partner and I were in the market for a home and Rick did a fantastic job helping us out! Very professional, very knowledgeable, attentive to OUR wants and needs and not a what I prefer type of agent at all. Rick met with us and broke down everything involved with house hunting, obtaining a loan, a timeline of events, and etc. He knew all the ins and outs of homeownership and really informed us of everything to expect from owning a home. His knowledge definitely made things easier for us when looking. If I had to say any negative things, it would be that there may have been a few bumps in the road where we thought he wasn't on the same page as us, but in my opinion, you encounter those situations when it comes to such an important decision as owning a home. It's a 30 year investment that you want to make sure you get right the first time! The other thing was when the property search wasn't finding many good places or updates, we did have to do a lot of the online property searching of homes ourselves, and then email Rick a list of places we would look at. He did offer up a few suggestions though. But, I think it was because he didn't want to be overbearing. He helped and guided instead of just doing mostly all of it for us. He answered all of our questions, and showed us every house we sent him (even if some turned out to be a what were we thinking?!?!? moment). We are now proud homeowners and couldn't be more happy with our decision. Rick definitely deserves much credit for the work that he did in helping us reach this goal!

Rick helped me find and buy my home. He was very patient and even found me a Real Estate Attorney that spoke my language which helped me understand the whole closing process.

Rick offered great service helping us navigate an area we weren't familiar with but also helped find the perfect home for us. I would recommend Rick to anyone that is in need of a new home. He was instrumental in being the go between for the mortgage companies, closing companies, and the lawyers.
